how to go about freezing sperm?

hey guys i was just curious if anyone here has frozen their sperm? i would like to freeze a few samples just as a precaution and am 100% on doing so, i would just feel better if i did it. im curious who should i contact? a fertility clinic? my primary care doc. was no help and and didnt refer me to anyone.
also curious to those who have done it if their insurance cover it, or if not what is the average price? any info would be great, i would love to get this done asap.

Go to a fertility clinic. As far as insurance, you have to talk to your insurance company.

i do work at a fertility clinic fairly often and insurance companies will usually never pay for it. the clinics take cash or money order only. it also depends where you live. southern insurance companies will never do it, while northern insurance companies have been known to be a little bit more lenient with fertility and reproductive health. good luck. it is the field i am looking into going into when i and done with med school. very expensive, but also very worth it. there is nothing like being able to be a part of making another human being with someone you love... goodluck!

It always helps to threaten to sue your insurance company. Obviously not over phone yourself,etc.. but if you have a lawyer type up a settlement letter,etc.. they usually back down. They dont have the time to bother with that kinda shit.
