hugo girard in strongman

i watched the strongman competition earlier this week, and i guess it was just a section of the whole competition...the next part comes on tuesday on espn2...hugo girard is the most impressive lifter...he pressed around 350 pounds over head...he said he would have gone for the record, but he wanted to save his strenght...judging from how easy it looked from the previous weight, he certainly could have pressed more...he may not be the biggest most impressive person to compete in strongman, but he is the biggest person i personally have ever witnessed competing...he is a monster....and it was much fun watching him compete...

he's definately one of the best, i saw him break the record for log lift this summer in my home town.. he went on to win it all that weekend too. also one of the nicest guys i've ever met, never once hesitating to spend time with his fans and the crowd.
