I met Jay Cutler today.

He was at the NPC New England Championships as the guest poser. I could not believe what a nice, down-to-earth guy he was. I didn't ask him to take a picture with me, he offered. I also met Dave Palumbo.




A bit of advice guys: If you ever want to feel like less of a man, stand next to Jay Cutler for a few minutes.

I have heard nothing but good stuff about Jay and him being a down to earth fella. But like you said, standing next to him puts it into reality. You have nice arms, but then you look over at Jay's..........Not knocking you but a pic like this shows you just how massive how these top pros are.

Happy you got to meet him. You look great by the way and then you stand next to him and he is in a different league. Thats what separates your local neighborhood BB or even competitor and the genetic elite. Im sure it has happened to most of us. People we know think we are yoked up and jacked and we all know that there are freaks out there that make us look "normal". Life sucks,haha...

Everyone speaks great things about Jay and his down to earth way. That is really inspiring to me - to know that some of the pros don't let it go to their heads and become totally snobs to everyone.

As for the pic, I know what you mean. You look good but next to Jay... well you know the rest.

I once took a pic with Francis Benfatto, the year he came in 6th at the Olympia and the same thing happened, even though he only gets me by the shoulder and competed at around 81kg he put my physique into a different perspective. LOL...

Jay really is the ambassador to bodybuilding, he is a down to earth person who has not let the fame and fortune change him. When I met him I thought I was big, my wife told me I looked like a little kid standing next to him.

I have met Ronnie and a few top pros myself and it's always fun, I literally walked right into Lee Priest ( looking around at the women there) at one show and he was still super nice, Glad you got to meet him and that is a great pic.

I haven't met him personally but my buddy has. You got a good picture with him it looks like...you aint so bad looking yourself man...And it's tough to compare to MR. O! I heard Jay is real cool when it comes to pics or what ever which is awesome of him.

Thanks for the replies...I had a great time at the show last night. After guest posing, Jay gave a little speech which motivated the hell out of me. He spoke of overcoming adversity and proving people wrong in this sport and made it very clear that he wanted the Sandow from the very beginning and wasn't going to let anything stop him. Jay is exactly the type of athlete that this sports needs at the top level.

Though I will never be at his level, I find myself with fresh motivation to move forward and work my ass off in preparation for my contest season next year. And I really wish I had taken a couple of months to prep for this show and enter it. Some people I spoke with there told me that I could have been very competitive in the middleweight class last night. Oh well.

I met Jay at Mr. Olympia and he is very very nice like you said, Soo down to earth, signed probally 1000 autographs and took pictures with everyone who wanted one. What a down to earth cool guy, very inspirational as well.

I have met quite a few pros....Jay, Ronnie, Kai, Gunter, Victor, Mike Morris, Jason Arntz, Bruce Patterson, Vinny Galanti, Alq, Jack London...all seemed pretty nice...Dexter & Craig Titus not so much

This is the first and only pro I have ever met, and he really represented the world of bodybuilding horribly, in my persepctive.

he is a very quite down to earth guy what u see is what u get type of guy i got few pics taken with my shirt off beside him after he guessed posed was like a fool haha . We spoke for around 30 minutes as im mates with the promotor of the shows so i get to meet all pros we bring over. Very open guy loves hunting bores lol.
