Remember when Ferrigno made his comeback and added in some 90s tech. I think he put on another 40 lbs stage weight. So maybe Arnold would have.

Ya Lou was huge. Major difference ion condition prob the hgh and other drugs that they didn’t have in the 60,s and 70,s other than his suspect calves that he never had before he looked incredible to me.

I think for the most part Lou had better genetics but Arnold trained harder. Arnold’s comeback was trash but they still didn’t have the technology we have today.

How old were they approximately when you saw them train? Who looked more impressive in person.

I was in my 20’s when I saw them. That would be middle 70’s to middle 80’s. Joe Gold still had the original Golds on Pacific. That is where I saw Arnold train. Lou trained at World Gym which Joe opened after he sold Golds.

Lou was just a big tall man, very impressive. Arnold was just plain easy on the eyes. Very impressive too.

For all the years I went down there, it never ceased to amaze me how hard they did not train.
