Ideal Blast/Cruise Time

Very true.

Here is a nice study showing Anavar's effects were almost equally effective whether used for 6 weeks or 12 weeks (in seniors but that shouldn't make a difference)

So that puts 6-8 weeks as ideal time depending on the esther used.

Then you need to let your body reset to get re-adjusted. It's just like caffeine, Xanax, etc. The body adapts to substances quickly. You need your body to forget about it if you want better results the next time you re-introduce it.



This I don’t agree with. Caffeine and Xanax become less effective for reasons that don’t compare.

If you set a dose, and keep that variable constant for 6, 8, 10, 12 weeks... and you aren’t progressively increasing food or training intensity either, it’s reasonable to expect a drop off because you’ve reached the ceiling of what that drug introduction will do on its own. If you hit the accelerator on your car to a certain point, but no further, you have no reason to go faster.

I’ve always found it best to start using half as much gear in the beginning of a blast phase compared to the end. If running TRT @ 200mg, you could begin the blast at 500, increase to 700, capping at 1000. Increase the dose when gains diminish. Within each dose threshold, try to prioritize undulating training and food periodization before a dose bump. Check blood work at your estimated half way point, and towards the end.

You should begin with blood work, and end the blast when blood work comes back out of range to the point where you don’t feel comfortable.

Don’t begin a blast until blood work is clean, and even then, wait a few more weeks.

There can’t be a standard answer. Some people have great blood work 4 months in, some smell an anavar tablet in the other room and their HDL bounces off the floor.
 
Having just ran a blast phase on 150mg per week I can agree with this. You don’t even recover how you feel or soreness in the 24-48 hour window like you do on cycle never mind grow.

completely agree. i am sore as fuck right now from lame ass circuit training but i am on low stuff. and older. but biggest diff imo is the amount of gear i am on now vs then. i could be sloppy with diet and work outs but if doses were high and on tren etc i still looked crazy AND could recover.
now with lose dose and no harsh strong compounds i dont look so impressive.... and cant recover for shit
