I have gotten this question a few times in PM. The question: How do I make it so that whenever I open a new tab in IE7 or IE8 it opens in my first default home page?
Tools\Internet Options\General Tab
Button down near the bottom: "Change how web pages are displayed in tabs."
When a new tab is opened:
Use the drop down box (in IE8) to select:
"Your First Home Page"
I don't have a PC that has IE7 right now, but you will see the setting there. I do not believe it is a drop down however, but a radio buttin instead. I will come back and edit this when I come across a box with IE7 and I remember to check it.
