Hi All!
I recently tore my pec (partial tear, apparently not a bad tear so says the sports physio doc but tell that to my pec) and am trying to do all the dang research I can.
When I first tore my pec I was really getting into more of the meat about IGF-1 LR3 and it's magical abilities. I ordered 1000mcg ASAP after my injury and got on the IGF-1 band wagon. The idea of new cell formation as well as healing injuries sounded like what I needed to lessen the damage.
roughly 4 weeks after I finished my IGF-1 my cycle of Test/Deca finally arrived. I got on that both because I had planned that cycle before the injury and because I thought it would be a muscle healing cocktail. I am now 4 weeks into that cycle.
The injury was roughly 10 weeks ago.
I want to finish this cycle then jump back on the IGF during my post cycle. Except after the initial IGF-1 use I noticed I had more scar tissue than I thought.
I want to know if IGF-1 LR3 will help the scar tissue or make things worse? I can find fantastic studies on healing tendonitis, and rats being all muscular, but nothing to fantastic about IGF-1 and scar tissue. Any insight would be awesome!!!
