immunoglobulin shots

Anyone on here know much about this? A few of us on here have had them in the past but dont know anything about it at all. It appears that there are different types of them. One member mentioned that he gets them each winter as a sort of preventative medicine and he never gets sick anymore really. I was very sick once with a high fever and my doc gave me one of these shots. Within 24 hrs I felt much better and got over it totally within a few more days. It was almost a miracle for me. I had been sick for almost 5 days or so before I went to the doc too. The only thing he gave me was that shot, no atibiotics or anything. It was viral.

I was just about to post a thread on this, and stumbled on this one thru google actually. I remember from that last thread, you and the other person had both taken the immunoglobulin shots.

I found another site that people were taking the shot for "IgA deficiency"

and it really reduced the level of infections they had as well.

I havent had much luck on google.

Maybe I'll go talk to a doctor about it.

(Currently very sick with some cold, and got work in the morning. SHould be fun )

Very very good information on it.

Its risks and how to curb the risks as well.

I'm very interested, will definitely be talking to a doctor about it, and get my Antibodies checked. I hypothesize that I have low antibody count in my body. (I get sick too easy, and take a load of herbs to keep myself functioning like a normal person)
