hi all
i am looking to change up my usual bodybuilding routine for a bit and am in need of a good powerlifting routine. i have heard multiple sets, low reps but not to failure. is this true? can someone give me some sample routines?

I use Westside. Will give you size and strength. Even though DC training is not powerlifting. I hear alot of people get strong on it so you may want to look into that.

Overrated. Incorporate some of their principles into your routine. Its not one size fits all.

What do you recommend? I've found it to work great since its not really cookie cutter and is very easy to tailor to whatever you want to do with it. I like a regular bodybuilding split routine with lots of volume too just not as much as westside. I should say though that even what I call regular bodybuilding routine isn't reallly regular cause I always do movements for strength like push presses, zerchers, and GMs. The only thing I don't really like is hit style. Tried it and got weaker.
 
Try the Sheiko program, I know Brian Siders was on it for a while and got great results from it to help him for powerlifting and strongman comps., now he adds a few things and takes away a few things to spice it up a bit.
 
I think it really depends on what your goals are. Full power? I would go with Sheiko. I usally did bench only in my powerlifting meets. For that, 5/3/1 or even the old Metal Militia was cool. But when I decided to do a full power meet, Sheiko offered the volume I needed to acclimate my body to do a full power meet.
