Incline Pressing for Chest size

I was suggested by an experienced bodybuilding coach that to develop a weak chest adding in mostly incline pressing (any degree incline whether slight or big) will really bring up the chest in size. I was curious to what your thoughts are about this and if anyone has experience with working mainly inclines for their chest routines?

i was taught the same..building a bigger upper portion of the pectorial makes it protrude from the sternum more...

i like doing declines too, try to build a well rounded chest would be the ideal method...just keeping running different excerises that way your pecs dont get used to the same machine or same dumbell routine. like changin incline angles alot helps

remember to squeeze at the top until you feel the full stretch
 
I'll be honest, I haven't seen much growth from my chest until I started doing weighted dips. Try it out.

Might be partially because you lean fwd as many people do. However, dips do hit a decent range and I like them.
I've always liked a press like incline or military...I just try not to come too far down.

I have had very good results using incline presses as well as flyes. I recently added decline to my routine and it has given me a good increase in size. Inclines are my bread and butter though.
 
I also try not too come down too far on incline presses. Especially dumbbell inclines. I have had 4 rotator cuff tears, 2 in each shoulder. All from doing dumbbell inclines and stretching back too far. I would love to have upper pecs like Victor Martinez.

Please show me your full training routine. Exercises, Days, weight, reps, and sets. Then i can help.
 
Chest routine:

DB flat bench 4x8-12
Decline bb bench 4x8-12
Machine flys 4x8-12

Thinking of changing it too...

Incline flys 3x10
Slight incline DB bench 4x6-8
Hammer strength incline press 4x6-8
Decline hammer strength chest press (dips fuck my shoulders royally) 4x6-8
