Infection?

Hey guys. I know I know, see a doctor. I will. Tomorrow most likely. I just want your personal experiences.

I am on HRT (through a doctor)

I injected as normal yesterday.

Then I looked in the vial because it was running low. I noticed some grey chunks in there. Now I am kind of paranoid that I injected something gross into my quad. Are there definite symptoms (I tried to google this)? It feels sore, but meh, it usually does after I inject. Should I look out for something? or can there be no symptoms? I think this post is ok, but I just am curious what you guys know about this.

If it is an infection, how does the DR. know. Will he just give me Anitbiotics?

Brand? Do you wipe your vial with Alcohol before and after each injection? Maybe it crashed, if you heat it does it clear up?

What color is the stopper in your vial? It is most likely little pieces of the rubber stopper that have broken loose after repeated penetrations into it. Just pay close attention when you are drawing out, not to suck one of these pieces up....Also check the syringe before you inject.

agree 100%, the grey you see at the bottom could easily be pieces of stopper.

Uggh. Yeah I think this might be the case. I really hope I did not inject a piece of rubber. Gross. I dont know if it would still be considered sterile. Any how, I will be keeping a close eye on it. Especially tomorrow. If it gets worse. I am going to Dr. Immediatly. No need to take chances. It still hurrts as of now, but no swelling or redness. Hopefully 8 hours of sleep will help.

give it a day or two post injection, if the site gets red, or hot, and you start feeling feverish, go to the doctor.
