Just wanted to make an intro post and make a before and after picture post. I have been browsing the forum for awhile and have learned alot from here and from other sites and amassed a good amount of knowledge but I am always looking to learn more about the hobby and sport of bodybuilding and nutrition.
Bit of of background, was heavily obese through childhood and decided to make a change my senior year of high school in 2008. Lost the weight and got down to 185 in 2010 from 265 with I'd say about 150 lb of LBM. Needless to say was pretty flabby. Ever since then I have struggled with pre disposed gyno, under preforming thyroid and loose skin and slow metabolism. I started working out at a medium pace in 2011 and progressed since then. I have been on am Actual diet for about 3 years now and worked out more intensely during that time. I have now transformed my physique and stabilized my metabolism and thyroid which I contribute to using a few anabolics and thyroid medications but none the less, feel great and look great and enjoy doing what I am doing.
I have been prepping for my first physique show in Kansas city which is on Oct 29th and it's been great prep and I've been very deduced and seen excellent results.
Currently my stats are 210, 10% at 5' 11" and I feel great but still not exactly where I'd like to be.
I attached my before and after from August 2008 to August 2016. A long time frame but it still took alot of work! The picture was taken about ten weeks out from my show on August 28th.
