I've been on here reading and studying up for a while, just wanted to say hey and thanks for all the sick info. I did 2 shows when I was 20, my training partner won a State show then actually died shortly thereafter, (may he rest in peace, he went from a skinny hippie 130lber to a 200lb 20 year old freak on stage in one years time, and that was only the start of his health troubles), which really pushed me away from bodybuilding since i had been eating sleeping and breathing it since I first touched a weight as a teenager, and I needed to get away for a while. I have been out of real serious training for a couple of years now but after reading and reading and using all of your posts and stories for motivation I'm back in the gym full time again, so I sincerely thank you guys for that. I won the 23 and under division in a National "natural" show in the North American BB Assoc in 2000, I competed at 218 @ 6'2" when I was 20. Now I'm 31, but the muscle memory is coming back, i hate to say it but I'm right around 290 now, and somewhat fat. I mean you can see vascularity and most people guess I weight like 200lbs so I'm not a tub or anything, I just had "4pack" abs at 270 before I whiplashed out of BB as a younger guy, so I guess I'm just heavy. I am on a mission to get back into sick shape, all the lifts are coming back and I can move weight again thank god, but I really wanted to thank all of you guys for your push to get back to business, and I keep telling my GF I may be ready to finally make a comeback in 2011. Thanks for having me folks, and props for by far the best BB board out there.
