Lockett was freaky, but i like a well conditioned and balanced guy from head to toe. Actually, i liked the guy physique who got second in the LH division as well.

yes i was there, and i also agree. The heavy weight in the pic is i guy i too thought should have won....Check out his pics on bodybuilding.com. He looks just nasty. Check him out in the pic from behind!! I think that alot of the weight classes were lost by guys that had excellent conditon to guys who's conditioning was good, but they just had more size. So in my opionion, size ruled over conditioning in this show. Plus, Lockettt pretty much had the win before he even stepped on stage with all the hype surrounding him. Theres like a million pics of him just from the weigh ins??? Coincidense?

LaCount's conditioning appeared to have slipped considerably from the prejudging to the night show, and the overall is judged at the night show.

Also, as "odd" as Lockett's physique is, it definitely has a much greater "WOW!" factor than LaCounts.

There are overall comparison pics up at MD.com if anyone wants to check those out. I had the overall between the LHW Brandon Rey, and Lockett.. but Lockett had way better conditioning and freakiness than Rey.

Branden has great potential....i personally liked the second place LH's physique over Branden's even.

I spoke to Rey a bit at the show and he's a very cool cat. Reminds me of Richard Jones in a lot of ways.

He needs to drastically improve his conditioning if he wants top honors. He knows this and will do his best to fix it for his next show (USAs or Nationals, I'm not sure which and have heard him say both on different occasions).
Conditioning is easy to fix if you want it bad enough. Having bad-ass genetics like Brandon is something that most of us will never have regardless of how hard we work. I wish him the best.

IMO if brandon can come into the usa's shredded and keep that same fullness the light heavy class is his! but thats a lot of IF'S.

My boy was the runner up LH. He's a tank! He met up with me the morning after the show at 6am for pre-breakfast cardio. My type of freind. He's doing the USA's as well. Look out for Eric Blancaflor..
