Kevin Nee and strongman

so one night i was watching MTV and they had a true life story and one of the ppl they highlighted was this kid, and i say that b/c he was only like 19, from AZ...tempe actually. Kevin Nee is his name. he does strongman competitions. At that time, i was watching, he was just starting out and trying to win some local strongman shows...did pretty good, especially for his age. Tonight, im sitting here and turn it to ESPN and 2006 strongman was on and so was Nee...holy shit this kid grew. AWN had mentioned he saw this kid recently and he said he was enormous, but i had not seen him since that show. On espn tonight they said he was 6'2" 265 and this kid was not fat...only 21 years old and hes currently in like 3rd place! yeah....he's a freak!

Yeah man that dude is a really nice guy actually. He's always at the casino playing cards and thats where I see the guy. He looks like a bodybuilder to be honest and has a back that could easily hang on a national stage. I'm sure that guy could compete in bodybuilding if he wanted to.

I got to know Kevin well. No he never played football for ASU, but he would train at the the same facility that we did. He would train with Liane Blynn when she was a strength coach for ASU, who just happens to be a tank herself!

From what I've seen so far, Kevin could be the next Marius P. in the making!! It's great to see so many Americans doing so well in the WSM!!
