lagging parts

hey guys quick question to the board, i was wondering what you guys recommend for a guy like me with lagging triceps? what should i do to bring them up a bit?
thing is i just realized today at the gym that i they are always tight when i work them out, even when i stretch them, and that they fatigue very quickly. any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks
 
i might have to give it a try. i use dc right now and for all other body parts i love it. just cant seem to get it goin on my tris though
 
For size I do seated overhead dumbell extensions. I go really heavy. I usually warm up with 70lbs and work my way up to about 130lbs. These seem to do the most for me.
 
One of my favorite execises for tri's is skull cushers with the ez bar, laying on the floor. How often do you work them out? And is it combined with another muscle group on the same day? Maybe throw them in on another day during the week. I do this with my calves as they are still lacking and I have to give them a couple extra sets during the week.
 
they say ifg and sytherol as ive done, as i know about trying to bring up lagging body parts, alls i can say is work em and stay consistant let other muscle groups slide to let the one catch up as im doing with my calves,
 
hit them first when your at the strongest if your doing them with another body part the same day, close grip bench is great to add mass on the tri's
 
if you are on dc its all about exercise selection

what are your chest/shoulder/tri exercises?
 
Mine have always been a bit stubborn, but once I started to consistantly focus on the compound movements (weighted dips, closegrip bench) my triceps started to grow again. I still do the extentions but the compounds are my bread and butter.
 
well since im doin dc yesterday i hit them with overhead extensions before i did the stretch. the problem is they seem to be tight during the whole exercise and failed quickly. i think i am going to just do heavy compound movements with them for a while and see how that turns. more close grip bench and seated and weighted dips might work.
synthol is out of the question to me, dont feel like going through that kind of soreness constantly but if thats the only way then i might.
