OK GUYS ON MY 3 WEEKS OUT PICS...EVERYONE AGREE'S THAT MY LEGS ARE BEHIND SCHEDULE...I AGREE TO...I HAVE EVEN GONE TO SOME OTHER GUYS AND ASKED IF IT'S A ESTROGEN PROBLEM OR IM NOT LEAN ENOUGH ??? IM NOT SURE WHAT IS DIFFERENT THIS YEAR..I AM DOING MORE CARDIO THAN IN THE PAST, IM TRAINING WITH MORE VOLUME...BUT FOR SOME REASON MY LEGS AND HAMS ARE NOT COMING IN (GLUTES HAVE ALWAYS BEEN A PROBLEM FOR ME) WHAT DO YOU GUYS THINK ???

quads look good from the front Chriss maybe a tad behind but i can barely tell maybe its the lighting.. id be more concerned at what the backside looks like since you said glutets have always been a problem maybe you forgot to post a back shot but thats what id like to see if your sayin lower body is behind.
you look great tho nice clean look very good for the sport i always liked your build
 
chris aren't you doing like three hours of cardio at super low intensity. I think if you bump it up maybe do some intervals for the last few weeks and then cut cardio out and stop trainning legs the usual ten days or week out like most they will relax and fill back out. Not saying this is right just an option from someone who knows nothing hahaha

looks to me that your legs just holding water from the cardio and the supplementation . although some will disagree with me now you might want to stop some supps much sooner than lets say 3 to 4 days out because they do make you hold water while others rarely hold any on them .

Big Chris .........looking good bro and i hope you are doing well.......to me your legs look tired . Cut your training volume way down and lay off the cardio.....get a few massages this week and sleep with your legs slightly elevated. I reduce your kals some .......maybe totaling what you were burning from cardio.......maybe be severe .....but that's what I would do......cuz you need to get alittle tighter......I don't think it's just water....your legs are tired [and that does cause some water].......cut the kals reduce or emliminate cardio........massage .....elevate.......then pose your ass off maybe sub for your cardio sessions......pose as long as you were doing your cardio so you dont have to drops kals too low ............and kick ass.............you are great guy......top notch physique....like to see you give it your best showing ever

I would probably start giving them a rest at 2 weeks out but that is my opinion. Otherwise i agree with everything J posted. Tired, worn down, etc.

for the 2006 ironman I cut out alot of stuff around the 2-3 week area...And as you can see I was pretty hard (hard for me) at that show...I only ran things that woundnt make me hold water, and even that stuff was cut out at a week out...

thanks for your advice...I do agree that my legs are tired, im very tired actully...I know when I trained arms yesterday, I coundnt feel a thing...It was like they were empty...No carbs, no pump at all...I have gone without any starchy carbs for about a week now...Yesterday I took in only about 50 grams of brown rice...that's it for the whole week...the rest of the week, it was turkey, egg whites, chicken breast, and green veges....nothing else...At the start of the week (monday and tuesday) I had a couple of whey shakes with 1 tbsp of Natural penut butter...So that's really the only fats I have had in the week (beside whats in my turkey or chicken)...

Cardio has been around 2 hours a day...But, very low intensity...(palumbo cardio)...

Diet........seems good .....I'd sub the cardio for posing ......do upper 2 hrs one day .......two hrs legs the next.......third day ....manditories 2 hrs .....then do it over.......that will burn more kals.....and rest the legs......pose to some fun music.....but really work hard at rach muscle group......get some massages or have your strong girl rub on those suckers every day ......and elevate when ever possible.................you are paying the price...........stay focussed beat your best by a mile ....you can and will do that ..........I know you will ..........enjoy the pain.......with it comes glory
 
seems your volume changed and so did your results? maybe realx a bit on the cardio and maybe cut out some volume. also, your waist is awesome bro! small and tight. good luck
 
Ok guys,

Im going to load up on the carbs today (lets say 250-300) and cut my cardio back over the weekend...Just to see what happens by monday morning...I'll let you guys know...

You where to low on carbs(50g). When you go that low on carbs you body has hard time for ATP production. Training should always and on a physiological and psychological high. You cannnot achive this goal without the proper carbs. The point is, your training and your crabohydrate nutrition must be designed to fit your body exactly, so you finish every training with the best performance. This is very important becouse your muscle and brain always register and remember the last rep.

Yes, don`t meter if you training of season or pre contest , you should have 80g carbs before training and 80g after.

I agree with the cardio making it "appear" they're not as hard or that they're behind. Once you stop cardio and stop training legs they should fill out and will be hard. But that may not happen until the last week. You could train them one last time around 10-12 days out.

I never understood the low carb thing just because......do it IF YOU NEED IT.......some shows you may, others not........some shows you need to add more as the show gets closer others not.........to do it just because you think it is the way to go........I feel bad for all you guys.
