long digesting protien v.s. whey with fat

So, if you want a nice 6-8hr time released protien so you can stay anabolic while sleeping whats the difference in using a casien or time released protien like Probolic, v.s. just using a simple whey with a few tbsp of olive oil or pb? Wouldnt the fat slow the whey down to the same level as the casien or other longer acting protiens?
 
I wondered about that myself. I eat tuna + mayonnaise before bed. But sometimes I get hungry at night.
 
why don't take casein + good fat ?????
This is what I use before go to bed : 30g of casein whith milk + one soupspoon of olive oil
 
I use a blend of 50% whey/casein and throw in a tsp of pb and splenda. Very satifying and taste quite good.
 
slowing down whey absorbtion use UDO's omega 3,6,9 blend and fibre, like psylium husks around 10-20 grams. That will slow it right down. The fat and fibre work together to slow the absorbtion, and you get the great amino acid profile of whey slowed down to casein speed. With husks also they form a gel type substance in the stomach which is a lot like a casein protein. Give it a try.
 
Tuna and some nuts would be a good idea. cottage chesse is also good
 
protein shake and add some PB in it
