I've been reading up on all kind of differant diets and how they work and got to thinking that if the ketosis diet makes the body use fats for energy and you consume less that it needs to run then it startes to feed from it fat stores.
The question I have is , if you get your body into a strong ketosis state by by using a high level of fat and no carbs , what would happen if you slown backed the fat intake off and raised the protine , say from 150g a day of fat and 250g Protien a day , to say 75-50g a day of fat and 300gr protien a day , woulden't this make the body use more of its stored fat as energy or would the body start to use the added protien for energy evenutualy converting back to burning glucose its making from scavanging the protien?
It just seemd to make sense to me that if you reduced the fuel it take to run the machine it has to get that extra from somplace and if the body has some to spare then it should use that before converting back and starting glycogensesis and useing the protine??
Anybody ever try it of run a keto diet with lower fat intake , I know that Dave Palumbo's diet plan uses for protien and less fat that the typical keto diet and is said to have good results.
