macadamia oil tastes very different then olive oil. I personally dont actually like the taste, 10g in a big blended chocolate protein shake and it really sticks out. i stick to avacado oil and extra virgin olive.
Can’t speak for his oil but I use Mac oil all the time from amazon. The taste is definitely earthier than olive oil but it pairs well with chocolate protein powder, I just mix it in with the shake. A while ago John Meadows had the below write up on it:

This is important because that particular fatty acid helps to incorporate omega 3 fatty acids into cell membranes. Experts Mary Enig and Fred Pascatore have documented how these fats lessen the need for EFA's. Lastly, it's also a very stable oil to cook with and can withstand temperatures as high as 410 degrees.”
I use Ellyndale brand. South African sourced and really quite tasty. Isn't overpowering at all. Use it a lot to cook with and even tastes pretty good in a shake in place of peanut butter.
