Making another order with TP

Ordering Branch Chain Amino Acids INSTANTIZED (BCAA's). I am a huge user of Scivation XTEND but I know the quality that TP outs out and the prices they have also. I am looking for a flavor for the BCAA to sip on Intra workout. Any suggestions?

The fruit flavors tend to go much better with BCAAs than any of the richer chocolate/vanilla flavors.


You've got a couple options

A) Get the BCAAs as is, purchase some premium flavor packets(various flavors if you want)

B) Make a custom mix of 100% BCAA and have them flavor it.

C) Just keep it plain and mix it with crystal light type products

The one I tried that covered it up the best was Premium Limeade, citrus ones seem to be the most popular there as they have a little "bite" of their own to offset the bitterness whereas a sweeter flavor like fruit punch won't help as much. The first option gives you the most options flavor wise and you can tweak it as you wish intensity wise, the 2nd means it's already done for you and obviously last you can add whatever you want to it if you prefer some of the crystal light flavors.

I like mixing it with a bit of Gatorade powder, for flavor and also a bit of electrolytes and carbohydrate.

You can get a big tub of Gatorade powder at Walmart for like $6 and that will last a long time.

I mix it with fruit punch crystal light with some fruit punch Gatorade powder thrown in.

Im just like SHelby. I order mine plain so i can mix it with whatever i want. I usually mix it with gatorade powder or crystal light powder. Also if you order it plain you can mix it with a protein shake.

I too mix mine with either crystal light or gatorade.

I mix mine in those 16oz water bottles the night before so thast it mixes together better over night and by the time I get to the gym the next day.

Which product are you referring to? I didn't think XTEND had those, I could be wrong it has been a while since I used it.

I too was looking into blending up my own version on the custom part of the site.

Side note: I had the pleasure of dealing with TP over the phone and they are one of the best.

i have used it before and it is a very good product. nice to sip on to get you through morning cardio.

Speaking of TP, my next order is going to have Buzz Saw in it. Been wanting to try that. I've been reading reviews around the net and people seem to really like it. The ingredients look spot on.

Nothing like a solid N.O. product. The problem with me is I usually only get one good use out of it. It's like I get this insane superman energy and have the best workout of my life, then I'll go through the whole tub and never get anything like it again. Tolerance shoots up in no time.

Okay, I may be missing something here. But have possibly a dumb question for you guys. I have been taking True proteins BCAA capsules daily since I ordered them at the beggining of the year. 2 caps pre workout and 3 caps post workout. Is there any benefit from taking the mix over the capsules?

It's the same product, you don't have the pleasure of tasting the raw product but it does cost a little more.

400 grams of capsulized BCAA= 19.08
454 grams of powders only BCAA(instantized)=13.99

That's just the rough numbers without a discount code or factoring in shipping or any of that.

Thanks, don't forget the cost of flavoring the mix as well. I don't know it just seems more convenient to take the caps if you have the extra change to waste. Sometimes I feel my plate is already full from ingesting everything on a daily basis such as- daily food, protein mixes, waxy maise, water intake, etc. It is nice to be able to swallow some things in pill or capsule form occasionally. Just my 2cents. I am sure I would like the mix form anyways, as I already love the flavors that TP offers and look forward to my shake times.

Most people are taking the BCAAs plain but yeah I agree the convenience is worth it to many to have caps.

I am the exact opposite. I do eat plenty, about 3500-4500(clean) but also take a great deal of supps. I have a little bowl(so they dont all roll around) on the counter that I put all my caps and tabs into twice a day and the last thing I need is more pills. I am always thirsty though so drinking them works great for me!

Cachexic: Try rotating the NO's. Using one for one workout, then switch to another, and then another, each for one workout. I know this requires buying more than one but it might do the trick!
