I am a few weeks out from get my issa personal training license.. I will be helping alot of people with diet. What are the biggest difference on writing a woman diet that is over weight compared to men.. I know there protein intake is a little less. What other differences are there if any??

yes seems like in men, more muscles one dude has, more carb he craves and can eat without getting fat.

where women have less muscles due to hormonal difference, its quite tough for them both training/dieting wise.

tahts from watching my ex gf's experience and getting help from Phil too.

Estrogen and cortisol almost make them hypothyroid like, so i would treat one as if so,,,,,who shivers in the indoor during winter? men or women? mostly women from lowered metabolism.

and as you know there are tons of variables, motivation factor, consistency etc.

damn man i cant see myself do this lol, goodluck bro, i would pull my hair out if the client doesnt follow directions well ahhaha
 
Base your numbers on lean body mass (LBM) if you are good with calipers, then you will have a pretty good idea.

Then base the diet on that number.

I personally like:

Protein 1.5 -2 g per lb LBM
Carbs 1 - 1.2 g per lb LBM
Healthy Fats .5-.8 g per lb of LBM

So if she is 110 lbs LBM she will get
165/20 gms Pro or 660/880 cals
100/132 grms carbs or 440/530 cals
55/88 grms fat or 495/792 cals

TOTAL...... 1595 to 2200 calories a day

If she is doing an hour of cardio a day and weights 3x a week at thses numbers and not losing fat, she is not sticking to the plan.

Gotta know her LBM to make a plan in my opinion.
 
My wife takes T3 prescribed by a doctor and she eats shit tons of carbs and stays skinny as hell. Will that have the same effect on a man?
