You really have to know how your body reacts on metformin if you want to use it on low carb days as you could g into hypo easily.

I have yet to use Met but have used Insulin (R, Log etc.) in the past. I am presently in "diet" mode for Nationals and want to experiment with Met. My plan was to take 500 mg 2x daily once with breakfast (post cardio) and once with my post workout meal. These are my 2 higher carb meals consisting of about 100g. Is this a good approach?
Also when carbing up in the last 3 days prior to a show how would you advise one to take this?
