I was doing leg presses today, warmed up proper and all but went pretty heavy.
300x20
600x20
900x15
1000x10
1200x2
On the 1200 set I was coming out of the bottom, my knees just off my chest and I felt, and I swore I heard a popping, ripping sound right below my hip at the origin of my rectus femoris. It felt a lot like popping and ripping bubble wrap.
I lost no strength, but I pulled the safety pins and racked the weight.
It still hurts, but not a lot. It's like a IM injection pain. No bruising.
I suppose I got out lucky.
I assume if I get no bruising there is no real damage.
Yes?
