This has been beatin to death in specific threads, but i havent seen it taken as a whole. Its always been specific BP's.

Do you think it makes no difference what exercise you use for a BP as long as its intense enough to stimulate growth? For example, what about guys with a weak upper chest? Ive read that alotta guys dont buy into incline presses. Do you think its purely genetic that a guys lower chest is more developed then his upper? How do you explain 'trouble shooting' in lifting then? Im sure guys have added specific size to a certain region of a muscle (im not talking about bicep peak or something like that which to me DOES seem predetermined) by addressing it specifically.

Even in the lowest volume training, such as DC (and im NOT an expert but just going by its basic principles), the exercises are rotated every 3? weeks i belive. Things like back are seperated into 'thickness' and 'width'. Wouldnt this indicate that larger muscle groups, such as thighs, chest, back, can be worked in different ways to bring up specific parts of said muscle group?

Sorry for the longwinded post. I think i may have been misunderstanding some of the things ive read so i just wanna get your guys opinions.

Something to think about.
If upper chest is nothing but genetics..and there is only 2 pec muscles, major and minor. That means that decline would work the entire chest, much like incline would, however you can go heavier on decline than incline.
It's my understand to get a big upper chest you need to work the pec minor.
So incline would prehaps work the minor more, that's responsible for the larger upper chest.

Exactly. Thats the same impression im under. I forsee that in all BIGGER muscle groups. I was just wondering about the ideas of the guys here that are anti-incline bench. As in, do they just NOT like that exercise, or do they think it is useless as say flat bench can develop the entire chest? Im using incline bench as an example because ive seen so many strong opinions on that specifically for both sides...
