my blood results and TRT

Hello fellas,

So....been off juice for about 6 months now and really feeling like shit adn just keeps getting worse. Only done 3 cycles in entire life, 33 years old. Anyway, did good PCT after last cycle (Tamoxifene for 6 weeks tapered off, 5000iu HCG one week after last shot) haven't felt very good since coming off. Now that I look back, I have felt symptoms of low T starting in my late 20's even before I ever tried a supplement and my first cycle was like WHOAAAAA......this is what it feels like to be 18 again

last cycle was 450 test-c and 300 EQ

went to my family doctor and got some blood work:

Cholesterol, metabolic, cbc....PERFECT but,
Dr. said he was surprised how low my test is... I am still a very big guy (relatively speaking) since i have lifted all my life but not what I could be.

Total test is 180 NG/DL
SHBG is 14 NMOL/L
Free test is 5.1 NG/DL

Got a script for Androgel and he told me to come back in a month for more blood work.

Does androgel actually restore natural test levels? He told me if i still feel like crap and my blood comes back low again, I may have to go with injections....I wouldn't mind that and actually prefer that over androgel everyday if this ends up being a permanent problem for the rest for my life.

Anyone here ever used androgel with any good results?

Exogenous Testosterone

It will increase/ restore your levels artificially. As far as resuming a natural production, it won't. It will signal your body (testes ) to stop manufacturing testosternone. Instead of going to your family practioner, go to a urologist. He might put you on HCG to force your testes to produce their own production of testosterone.

The probelm is that people don`t know that by taking androgens the Adrenal cortex it will not function normal, so by taking HCG you adrenal cortex it wouldn`t get regulated. You need to regulate your adrenal gland function. Next to your brain the most important organ are the adrenal galnds.

emeric, so what do you recommend? Most doctors are uninformed when it comes to androgen use. I know that I have low test now and i do not like it. The androgel will have to do for now but it is definitely not a long term solution. I am seriously concerned that I will not be able to goad my body into producing the correct amount of testosterone again. Is HCG worth trying? I wish I would have had my androgen levels tested when I was in my 20's so I would have a baseline to compare my current levels to.........

The only way to really know if hcg will help you out is to run it for a period of time and compare it to your baseline. See a doc. 33 is pretty young to go on TRT IMO given your history.
