My gf... Advice..

This is kinda personal.. but since i dont know neone on this board personally i figured i can post here without much worries...

My gf has been getting this white thick discharge from her vagina.We got 3 lab tests done and they all come back as normal. shows no sign of yeast. Just the normal flora that are supposed to be there. But the discharge is a lot.
She has tried different meds too. flagyl, flucanzole, oson but nothing has worked.. Its too the point where she cries when she sees it cause she feels "gross" about it.

Everytime we have sex, my penis gets a bit itchy nad my lymph nodes get swollen down there but nothing much..

Do ne of u females knwo nething bout such recurrent discharge .. tht was not an yeast infection?? is it normal for partners penis to get itchy every now nad hten.. I got a culture done on my penis as well and it came back normal.. ??

Its pretty confusing and its stressin us out.. Well her more than me.. ANY Advice?/

I was about to post a very similar topic, my wifes getting the same sort of discharge although she's getting cystitis pain also, she reckons it's all down to the amount of protein that i'm consuming and when having sex it passes through and irritates her, don't know if it's correct or not but that's the conclusion she has come to.

What ever she does, don't use a Douche. Douching can upset the natural balance of organisms in her body. Most women have some form of vaginal discharge but not all discharge is normal. Vaginal discharge "can be" a sign of an infection. Vaginal discharge is a sign of an infection when it
causes itching, swelling, or has a bad odor. Common vaginal infections can be due to yeast infection, trichomoniasis(?), gonorrhea, or chlamydia. Best thing to do is to have her GYN Doctor take a look at her and even take a swab(sample) and go from there.

has she started on a new form of birth control. Some bc like the Nuva Ring can actually increase and thicken vaginal discharge. She shouldnt be taking fluconazole or flagyl without the dr perscribing it for an acual infection. Over use of antibiotics is a big no-no. She may need them to work for an actual infection she gets someday and there is a possibilty they may not fight the infection bc her lil yeasts or organisms are immume.

Hormornal fluctuations, etc could all be a part of it. Have you changed detergents lately? Has she started wearing more silky undies? Good ole' cotton is the best because it allows the area to breath.

Just tell her not to worry. Have her drink some pinapple juice to make herself feel better and just wipe off your junk when you're done. If she doesnt know that she makes you itch I would say its best not to tell her since she's already pretty upset. You still wanna get some I'm assuming......

If she's been to the doctor and had test done that showed nothing, then it's probably nothing to worry about. It's not abnormal for a female to have a little heavy discharge than other days. I have no idea what causes it, but I know I've experienced it before too.

The extra itchy and irritation can be just like hngrygrl said from you're "junk". Some women just have reacts to it. I recommend after the two of you are done that she goes to the bathroom and clean up. Some people say that if she pees after sex, it helps reduce bladder infections as well. I don't know if that's true or not, but it helps with the itchy/irritation. It's also convent to keep "sex" towels near the bed to clean up with.

Sounds like a bacterial infection on trichomonis. both are painless though can itch. Have her go to a ob and swab it (wet prep) should chack for it. Oh yeah if the trich shows up in the urine it has been there a longgg time.Flagyl should take care of a trich infection and both of you may need tx. Neways , tell her not to douche it will make it worse. The vagina is a self cleaning organ and unless you are sticking syrup or fruit up there no need for it! Good luck! Hope it's not VD.
