OK... I am currently 17 weeks and 5 days out from the 2012 AZ Open. This will be my 3rd show. I've never kept a log before so you may have to bear with me here... I will do my best to keep it updated with pics and details. I was actually motivated to do this by bmcjames' log for his first contest... his progress is unreal...
Here is some background on me. I am self employed and own a small real estate company. We have been extremely fortunate to have been very busy the last 4 years. Recently due to stress and other factors, I decided to take my business strategy in a new direction and market myself differently. (my clients have mainly been corprate clients/banks, for whom we have sold 100+ homes a year). I have a wife, 14 year old son and 10 month old daughter... so needless to say, I am constantly "on the go".
Recently, all the stress caught up with me and I started having some anxiety, had a massive panick attack one day and thought I was having a heart attack... Saw a cardiologist, did a holter monitor, stress test and an echo, my follow up appointment is on this tuesday. I am confident that all will be fine.
I took about a month off of training and eating properly (wasnt eating enough and my physique got a little sloppy during this time) due to the stress but I started my diet, training and cardio again last week.
I will not be using any hormonal supps at all for this prep... except maybe an otc one called androhard for the last 10-12 weeks (not a methyl). My main motivation these days is to be healthy... the bodybuilding is a hobby that makes me feel good and gives me a goal to get in the best shape possible
I have a prep coach doing my diet... he's a badass.
