Need a new PRINTER SCANNER COPIER FAX!!

Hey everyone,

Been on the phone with HP for over the last 6-9 months dealing with my
J6480 printer and I finally got someone who told me its garbage. Oh and guess what now I am past my warranty. I am so pissed. If I could have gone through the phone I think I would have strangled the person i was speaking with. I almost feel like they were just trying to pass the time of my warranty.

Anyway just had to get that out. Glad Im not ON right now or I might need to buy a new phone as well.

I now need to buy a printer scanner copier fax. I run a finance company out of my home and need to get one here shortly. Do you guys know of a decent one? I ultimately would like on that has both a paper tray for letter size and legal size... If the price is alright. I really dont want to spend too much. I was kind of looking at the HP 8500. However I was just dealing with HP.

If you guys have some ideas it would be great and if you know of a place to order it that has good prices would be even better.

If it were my decision I think I'd go with the Samsung SCX-4828FN, but it's up to you.

I gotta say that for the money, Brother is hard to beat. Yes I like HP also but the drivers are cludgey and the price cannot compare. Brother always just seems "to work", and has simple drivers that also seem "to work" on just about everything including Windows 7 and Server 2008 R2, 64 bit included. Outweigh your price on this one because the refill catridges are available through a number of third party avenues which make it even cheaper over the long run AND the things just run and very rairly have problems from what I've experienced. Color laser will be cheaper than just about anything out there and will probably outlast anything out there at 2 times the price.

Let alone their network connectivity is second to none with their built in wireless which can be set up in tandem to LAN as a failover system with the SAME IP address.

I too have to second the Brother line, cheap yet very effective. I have way less problems with any of the Brother's machines than i do any of the hp,epson,oki, or whatever other crap brand some tool brought into this place.
