ok a friend asked me abt his situation and i thought it was fucked up, so im posting it here to see what everyones thoughts are...
my friends is a small time dealer mind you, so his now former boy asks him for a large order, so he sez he can get it for him but he must order it as its too large to front, so its agreed upon, he orders, and the supplier gets popped by the feds, now the former friend wants his cash back when he knew the risk he took, but MY friend doesnt feel as tho he should repay him.
now the former friend goes to my friends MOM at her restaraunt,(mind you the former friend is 32years old) and begs and pleads and tells her that her son screwed him out of alot of $, now the family of my buddy is pressuring him to pay the guy back ASAP, so they are pressuring him to sell his car to "make this right" when i feel he doesnt need to pay him at all
what are everyones opinions????

IMO, when you deal, people are putting their trust in you. He should work something out to pay the guy back. There has to be accountability on the end of the source.

well first, he didnt make a cent off this guy, and the guy knew upfront that if it got seized or sumthin happened, that was it, he was taking the risk...
i personally feel he should only h ave to give 50% refund if ANY
as they both knew the risk and took it

if the supplier got popped while he had the money then in my opinion there really isnt anything to discuss...

i mean if the small time supplier was to get popped delivering the goods to the former friend, there still isnt any payback...

i used to be real hard about things like this...

tracking numbers dictate responsibility and if the police drop a bust on dealers or suppliers, nobody owes anybody anything..

if the guy goes back to selling then the supplier should at the very minimum sell at cost to the "friends" until costs are recovered.

thats a tough on considering i wasnt there discussing the details.. but if the friend didnt make any money off the guy i wouldnt be paying shit back.. im sure as everyone knows there is a risk...

and btw, did the former friend mention to the dudes parents, that this money he got ripped from is for drugs???????? LOL

what a douche bag, i would be fuckin pissed and say you know i would of tried to work something out with you, but since you went to my family, SUCK MY FUCKIN DICK!!!

Fuck him he knew the risk he was going to take anything can go wrong at any given time,now since somehting did go wrong he wants to ask foir his money back wtf shit dont go down like that in the world of the streets,thats like syaing everytime we rob a bank and get away with it i want half the money but if we get caught you take the fall while i go scott free,your dealer buddy is having to take all the heat in this situation when both of them were in on it,the guy knew what he was buying & it wasnt chocalates so i say get lost & about selling his car out of the fucking question,& personally i would kick his ass for going to his family about the matter but thats just my opinion

I think he is accountable for the money lost. Unless he made an agreement, that in the case something like this would happen, but then again if those agreements were made alot of people would be getting screwed over. Its a shitty situation, but in the end the former friend had a deal with your friend, and he trusted his source who got poped. The guy who got poped should be held accountable in this instance then to pay your freind back, but also its your friend responsibility to pay back the former friend.

i just dont understand that...

you dont make a deal that you arent responsible for the money in a situation like that... as soon as the money changes hands so does responsibility...

i would agree with you if the money just went missing or the source scammed...

thats the problem with steroid users as opposed to other drug users..
they always think they are not involved in an illegal drug deal and some other wierd rules apply..and they think their monies are guaranteed......LOL

if you cant afford to lose it dont give it to someone...

i've lost 10's of thousands over the years and i only truly believe that one guy owes me 4600 bucks...

Exactly, dont bite off more than you can chew. If he couldnt make up the money back to this guy if something like this did go wrong, he shouldnt have done this deal. But if the the guy said he was going through another guy and if something happened he wouldnt be responsible, thats another story. Just my .02cents. I would have the guys head if he wouldnt pay me back unless there was an agreement. The agreement was he pay up front for the goods, the money has changed hands and whoever held it last was accountable for it. But no way should this guy not all of a sudden be responsible for it because someone alse got popped, to me it doesnt work that way.

exactly, but you know the supplier aint paying it back after getting popped...even though he is the responsible party..unless he tries to go back into biz...

everyone i have ever dealt with worked the opposite...

it was always, always understood that if the cops actually arrested someone for steroids, not rec drugs or some shit that the money is gone....and whatever was taken off the top as profit by me gets returned....however, on several occasions i have gone against this and told guys i'd guarantee their monies...and no matter what happend i'd get them their monies back..

but i can understand why you would work the other way..

If your friend wasn't making any $ on the deal and the other guy knew the risk involved then I'd have to say he's outta luck. I might pay back 50% if he was a good friend but if he turned around and told my family that I owed him money then he would get shit.
