My old diet I stopped gaining at 226.5 and remained there for 1 month and half. So decided to change it up.

Old Diet

37% Carbohyrates 260.56 total
38% Protein 288.05 total
25% Fat 79.72 total

K question - only the 3rd day on this and dropped 3 Lbs. Do I chalk that up to intestinal weight?

Also should I expect to lose fat on this diet? Or just remain same % of fat but increase muscle?

any input would be appreciated, diet noob here!

the weight drop is from lowered carbs(water weight), not sure about the rest. Change is good!

Eating ever 2 or so hours - man im full but im really hungry for fat or some nice krispy cream donuts...Yumm!!

Are you trying to gain or lose weight? It seems like you're trying to gain but instead losing it.
 
what I was attempting to do was lose fat while keeping muscle.

Gaining muscle on it would be a ++

Not sure If I got it right though

Trying to hit 10% Fat I'm at 19% atm

Maybe you should go up to 3,364 kcals and increase your carbs to 19.573% while lowering your fats to 33.947%?

:D Sorry couldn't resist! :p J/K bro... it's good to be meticulous with your diet, but please realize losing fat ain't rocket science either... ;)

These ratios look good on paper and seem to work well cause you're losing weight... keep it up for a few more days or even weeks if you feel alright (no lethargy or loss of strenght), and see where it leads you... you should be slowly losing fat while retaining muscle. Then adjust.

I wouldnt sweat

the scale so much bro. Go by the mirror. It's better to be around 12% or so to bulk as it is. If you're putting on size and quality muscle while your bodyfat is moving around or going away, you might not see anything on the scale. What is your goal weight?
 
honestly goal weight? k don't laugh to hard


240 at aprox 10% body fat


for this little experiment - I just want to drop down to 10% body fat or so


No rush but don't want to lose muscle with the process--Im far from pro

so hopefully it goes alright-

Once I reach a plateau - I'll try something like no carbs and increase fat - then eliminate carb a carb day per week - haven't really thought it out but have an idea
