the first comp I did I went againt 4 other guys, 3 of them outweighed me a lot, and all 4 of them had done at least a few comps and 1 of them, several comps, I took 1st place over all in that one, it was a novice classification according to the promoter. The second comp had 10 guys in the heavy class and I finished 5th place, some of these guys have competed on TV and most of them have been around for a few years so I was happy with that, I did what I came to do. Last comp also had 10 guys in my class, and the guy that won 1st place has done 24 comps prior to this one, and the top 4 people have been at it just as long as he has so when I got 6th overall I was happy, I had 2 - 4ths, and a 5th in this last comp but my last event which was an appolans axle press for max lift, only 3 attemps, I sucked at it and it and got an 8th in this event, it pulled me down to a 6th place overall finish
but you live, and you learn, and thats what I have been doing so far, so every time I compete, I seem to go against more experianced guys and I learn, so I will be better the next time I face them....I hope. The last 2 I did were listed at intermediat by the promoters.
