I have been looking at the town of Metairie. But I want to make sure I am close to Lake Pontchartrain and still in a safe, nice town.

Suggestions?

I am looking for a 1BR,1B. Whether it is a studio or not, I am trying to keep my rent AS LOW AS POSSBILE.

Metarie isin't a bad place to live , Kenner isin't bad either. Mostly thing about where your gonna be working. I live on the north shore , i think its a bit more laid back , safe and only about 20-30 min from the CBD.
