Everyone that knows me knows that I am a diehard Westside guy. As I get older I seem top need more time to recover. I decided to spread my 4 workouts over 10 days instead of 7. Also with summer right around the corner I need sunday off so I can hit the lake for some Waverunner fun.

I am also on a diet to get down to the 275's. Monday I started out at 317 and friday I was 310. The goal is to hit 285 by June. My blood pressure is down and I finally got back in the gym this week. Fuck I'm sore.

Yup, I cut the carbs back to around 100g/day and it's going well so far. One cheat day per week. I will decide which meet I'm going to do in June. The big deciding factor will be wheter or not I get down to around 285 by then. I'll need to buy new supportive gear so I want to get close to the weight I will actually lift at before It make my purchase. I also need enough time to practice in the new gear, especially the squat suit. More time is needed in the monolift too so I can practice my set-up with the heavier weights. I couldn't get stabil with that 850 even tho the weight felt rediculously light. As for the bench shirt, I got my groove figured out because the 605 shot up fast and easy. The 650 touched too low and I couldn't get back under it.

PB--glad to hear the diet is going well so far. I'm trying to figure out a time to do a test meet at Wildman's. When we figure something out we'll let you know. Hopefully it will work for you too.
