They have new rule on ANY money going outside US. You can ONLY send $500 at a time and only $1000 per month.

I know they must be doing a few things differant,
sent funds wu for a few years now an never had to have id..
last time i sent (couple a days ago) they said the computer was askin for my Id?? girl workin even said huh Ive never seen that before. maybe there changin some policies on overseas transfers

They told me personally then I called the company and they said same thing. It is happening EVERYWHERE!!

Its standard for them to ask for ID, amounts over $1000.
Screw WU, Monaygram is cheaper anyway and most sources take both.

anyway I prefer working with ppl now where u can send $ via priority express delivery confirmation.. no ID required when the $ ammount is too high, no middle man WU

They did ask for personal ID/info but just that.

Sent Western Union yesterday. Lady said anything over $1000 needs ID, but no limit on funds sent.
