not gaining as expected

I've done two previous cycles and gained at least 15lbs each time on 250mg of test a week. At the beginning of my current cycle I weighed 200lbs and I was hoping to get around 215-220. My cycle consisted of 300mgs of test enthanate and 200mgs of deca which i know is low if i would like to achieve that weight but I was curious on what the results would be. I am in my 9th week an have only gained around 6 lbs with a steady workout routine great protein intake, etc. I was wondering if I am trying to get to that weight would i have to drastically increase my dosage or am I doing something wrong? Also does anyone recommend me extended my cycle past the usual 10 weeks to gain more? I also understand the sciences between the deca an test and what they do, is there any other gear recommended instead of those two? Thanks for your time.
 
What does you training and diet look like?
 
if you aren't gaining much fat and holding much water .. 6lbs of lean mass is FANTASTIC .. people that put on tons of weight on cycle are either

a) no where near their genetic potential; or
b) putting on a lot of fat and water
 
The amount of weight you put on is going to depend on our calories. You can always slap on tons of "weight" if that is all you are after simply by driving your calories up pregressively each week, eating tons of carbs and protein. I wouldnt advise this route though unless you are already quite lean, or your just going to add alot of worthless chub. I personally rarely put much weight on when on cycle anymore. I am on a rather heavy cycle currently and my weight has only went up by 4 or 5 pounds after about 5 weeks. This is more than likely water weight, although I am losing bodyfat and my strength is going through the roof. I always base my training and diet and cycle planning strictly on strength/power. The way I figure is as long as I can somewhat make out my abs and my strength is going up then I am good. I would rather be able to rip a door off its hinges than sport a shredded midsection anyway, but thats just me.
 
well usually my appetite increase dramastically on a cycle and I'm a fan of chicken breat so i eat a lot of that with my protein shakes. I feel I am definately taking in enough protein. The carbs maybe not.

SO i could most likely being gaining just lean muscle? My last two cycles i noticed i did gain a lot of unwanted fat but this time I am leaner than usual. But those posts do make sense. I got lucky last year and got a free test from the doctor and it measured the amount of calories i burn a day and it came out to 3500 and he told me how much I need to take in to gain so many pounds. As long as it's a muscle gain I am a bit relieved.


As far as training:
I usually do 3 days on and one off. One day push(bench,shoulders, and triceps). One day pull(bi's,back,and traps) and the third day is legs. Then a Rest day then repeated I usually to 3 separate machines or free-weight with sets of four for each muscle. The last set is usually until failure.

Don't increase the dosage just yet. If you're strength is going up, and you're gaining weight, just go with it, take a closer look at your diet. It really depends on what YOU want. Me personally, I don't mind gaining some extra fat, but thats just me. I know some guys just strive for "muscle" gain. It all goes back to how you want to look, feel, and how comfortable you are with it. If you want to gain 20 lbs, you can, but it's not going to be solid weight.

Bump it!!! I hooked up a guy at my work with Alin and he was set on Sust... That is all he took at around 500mgs. a week and put on barely 10 lbs and some of it was h2o...I saw wtf he ate and it was nothing but a PB sandwich, yogurt and a few snacks...EAT TO GROW!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Diet is very important but you must be training for size. You would be better off using DC, Heron or UHT for gains in size as these seem to incorporate hypertrophy at a higher rate. Low volume, high frequency is the key to maximum hypertrophy unless you are in the genetic elite group.
 
Chicken is good for protein intake, but not a solid or dense food. Shakes are good but they should never replace good food just to get in your daily % of protein. Complex carbs and others are the way to go. Don't neglect things like steak, ground beef(lean), ground turkey(or whole) brown rice(not white) mexican yams, sweet potatoes, whole grains, wheat bread, there are a bunch more. And these are great foods that will increase your size in no time. Again, cut back on the shakes and put in more on the foods. Good luck brother.

p.s. try always to stay away if possible from white colored foods. Pasta,white rice, potatoes, white bread. They are nothing more then filler foods(something to fill your stomach) and have almost no nutritional values or have had the vitamins and nutrtition stripped out of them and are then placed back in. This is called "enriching". Putting back in what they took out by way of bleaching or stripping.
