O/T MP3 Player Recommendations

I'm in the market for an mp3 player and am curious as to what you guys are using. I've been looking at the latest generation IPod Nano, but I really don't need a video camera and all that. I would however like something with an FM radio tuner. The Microsoft Zune series seems pretty good. What are you guys listening to and how do you like it? I'd like to stay under $200.

Pandora on my palm pre or the music I downloaded to it or Sansa clip. The Sansa has FM radio and a lot of features for a low price.

Absolutely love the Zune. Would buy it over an iPod any day (I've had my zune for I think 3 years now, not a single problem)

I go old school. Big giant 80's boom box. sure its annoying to other people but if they dont like my music theyre jerks anyway.

i got my girl and ipod touch, she loves it.

IMO stay the fuck away from ipod. Itunes is so fuckin bloated with bullshit it will make your head spin. I love my MP3 player. Some no name 4GB with fm radio. Got it at microcenter for 29.99. Sansa is a great one too. Basically you want to be able to just drag and drop songs in and out with out all the other BS itunes has to offer. Thats just my opinion. There are tons of apple fans boy but I'm not one of them. Also look in to "rockbox" get a player thats compatible with that and you can even run a nintendo emulator. pretty sweet brah

I have the 8 gb version and have no complains it seems to get good reviews for sound quality. When you add it to the cart it comes out to 68 bucks plus you can get extended warranty for a few more bucks.

if you want something that is out of the way of your training...get yourself a good mobile phone device like a blackberry, windows mobile based phone, droid, iphone etc...and use it for music too...BUT the key is the bluetooth stereo headphones...they let you workout without the wires and the sound quality is great...i use a blackberry tour along with these(i have both the 2nd and 3rd one down)bluetooth stereo headphones - BestBuy

i alwasy have my gym bag near me with my wraps etc so the player stays in bag and all i wear is the wireless headphones...they work from up to 40feet from my bag too

I use my Pre...and a Zune.

Zune to me, is about as straightforward player as you can get. I do mostly use my palm now though...its just easier.

depends too on how much music you have. I changout my music often so I don't need more than 4GB or so. I vote for the Sansa clip and it works perfect. Simple drag and drop to put the songs on it, fm tuner, shuffle mode, all that good stuff. Got it for like $30.

i have 2 preferences. the 16gb ipod nano (small and portable with a decent amount of space at a reasonable price) or the 160gb ipod classic(has all the space i need, very competitively priced, only drawback is it is a bit heavy) the ipod touches i feel are lacking in space, though they have a 64gb model now. unfortunately the touch is not cost effective for the purpose only of watching video or listening to music, and for that reason the classic or nano are my choices. archos makes a quality product as well, but it is quite large, atleast the last time i looked into it.

While lifting I use pandora on my iphone hooked up with an auxiliary cord to a stereo, then when doing cardio I want to have more specific pump up songs so I use my own playlists on iphone...

So basically Iphone, but when I am doing yardwork I am using my Insignia (best buy brand) mp3 player, so my phone wont get messed up... This has pretty good features, its small, has bluetooth stereo, sd card slot, radio...
