The past couple of weeks I have had to travel to the boonies for work, so I have been training four days in a row when I'm home and then taking the next three days off while traveling. Surprisingly, I'm feeling more energetic at the gym, my lifts have been getting stronger, and I even sleep better throughout the week. And after three days off, I am chomping at the bit to get back into the gym. I always thought it was counterproductive to train more than three days in a row without a break or to take more than two consecutive days off, but sometimes you don't know if something works until you are forced to try it. Just curious, does anyone else have any unusual training schedule?
