ORDERING BLOOD WORK ON LINE .

A week ago a member posted some information about an online company that mails out bloodwork that can be purchased for $39.99 , and the tests can be taken to a local lab . Does anyone know of a company like this ?

They have a spring blood test sale every year for about half off prices but you have to be a member. The requisitions for the tests are good for 6 months so you can plan ahead some and save some money.

Thanks so much for the info, guys . I need to look into this more , but so far some of these test are not cheap and require you to go to a local lab corp which I've done and they want a prescription from my doctor and would not tell me what they're fee would be for what I want .

With privatemdlabs.com, you are getting requisition papers from a real doctor. You go to the LabCorp, hand them the requisition form and a form of ID, and they draw blood. You don't pay them anything and they don't ask you any questions. I am usually in and out of the LabCorp in 10 minutes.

2-3 days later, privatemdlabs emails you the test results.

In the past the clinic just set it all up. I gave them a paper and there was no add'l billing.

Can anyone gaive any recommendations as to what tests or package of tests would be sufficient?

thanks for the links, I choose Health 1 inc. I purchases the comprehensive health profile test for $59.99 that looks like a really good test kit that checks for everything you need to know . It sounds like the only problem may be understanding the test results when looking at them afterward .
