That’s debatable if you’re competing at the top level and doing ALL health screening, supplements, medications, therapies etc.I know what they do. Going down from 2.5 to 1.5 is even more stupid than "health phases"
Just saying not to underestimate periods on low PEDs considering long time run. There are many factors to be considered of course but the main clue is - periodic low use > lack of them at all in terms of health in long term
The average gym person, sure. The person not going for a pro card, sure. There’s levels to this sport obviously. But it can be achieved through health for most if done right.
Drastic fluctuations in the body, especially in terms of weight can be extremely damaging. It’s about maintaining as healthy of a balance as possible at that level.
If anyone needs a good example of this just look at 2020. And I’m not talking about those who got COVID.
Look how many guys had health issues after having to be off or down in size for months to a year bc of lockdowns and then had to rebound up to shape and size for the 2020 Olympia and other shows that opened back up in certain states.
