Hi guys had my fourth bad health test ever today. Previously I had 2 bad kidney tests both related to using creatine and one elevated cholesterol test which I think was due to getting tested after a few meals that weren’t that clean.

Today I got my full results back, for reference I only get a note of whether they were in or out of range and a doctors opinion. So kidneys, liver, thyroid, iron, prostate and a few others all in range and said they were good also, whatever that means.

My red blood cell count was elevated, which I have never had before, so is it something to be concerned about? Doctors comments on the report were drink more water and stop using steroids. I drink lots of water and don’t want to stop using test.
My cholesterol was also slightly elevated even though I got tested fasted, doctor said slightly elevated but no need for a statin or other medication.

I am mid-40’s been using gear for over 20 years with a few get her pregnant breaks in between. My current gear etc, which I was using for at least a month before the test also is-

300-350mg test cyp a week
50-75mg primo acetate tabs a day
3 iu gh 5 days a week
1500mg injectable glutathione a week
2.5mg tirzepatide a week
TB500 and BPC157 about 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off
Aromasin or raloxifene as needed

So my questions is elevated blood count a major concern? Is there anything I’m taking which makes it markedly worse or anything I should take to improve it?

With cholesterol any recommendations? It is usually quite low although all 3 readings are usually low but I didn’t get the numbers this time.

I’m feeling the best I have in years so definitely don’t want to take the get off all test advice.

Any help appreciated thanks.

how high was RBC? Hemoglobin and HCT in range?
i wouldnt worry about a slightly elevated RBC.
And drop thise Primo tabs - they dont do anything but for a man but steal your money.
Switch to 100mg injectable a week

cant edit anymore it says:
you say you drink enough water and you have had 2 bad kidney (i assume creatinine) test.
Do you make sure you drink enough right prior to the blood test too?
if you have blood work in the morning, make sure you hydrate properly (1,5l) prior to your blood test.
It can screw a lot of things if you are dehydrated (creatinine, RBC; HB, HCT,...)

Would really need to see the full bloodwork to get a clear picture and know how high the RBC is. If you request it your doctor has to share the full numbers with you- it’s your bloodwork.

Along with all the water you’re drinking are you using electrolytes? If not it would be my first addition.

Personal curiosity- why 1500mg of glutathione a week? Unless you have liver damage or an autoimmune disease you are not doing your body any favors using that dosage as you will destroy your body’s natural ability to produce it.

I will try my doc to get the numbers, the wonder of a national health service is it is easy to get tests but never easy to get much detail.

No not using any electrolytes, have never used them just a multivitamin, vitamin C and a vitamin D and K supplement. Do you recommend the type you dissolve in your drink?

Taking the glutathione just because as my friend bought a load that is close to expiry and gave me 10 vials so was just using a vial a week until it runs out, have 4 left. I do love a freebie and damn it has my skin looking so clear.

The primo tabs were also a freebie from my Chinese contact so just using them as yet again I love a freebie. Would never buy them way too expensive probably only have about 4 days worth left anyway.

Just be careful with that high of glutathione for long periods of time. It will likely be fine for a good year after expiration if it’s kept in the fridge. I usually don’t like guys doing more than 200mg, 1-2 times weekly so you can keep your natural levels from tanking. That would be terrible on the other side to stop cold turkey.

Electrolytes I prefer liquid, but powder would work. I use BodyBio E-Lyte or suggest Trace Minerals. Both are liquids and are on Amazon. I do two servings AM upon waking with 20oz of water and another 1-2 in my intra drink while training.

NHS in UK?

You can ask the receptionists to print them off for you at your local doctors surgery.

That's what they used to do for me when I used NHS for bloods.

In my experience, they won't do them whenever you want and may push you to get them done privately. I was good for 1-2x per year for a while, now I always go private (youth-revisted, medichecks).

My 2 bad creatinine tests were almost 20 years ago now have not had one since as I never used creatine again. I didn’t drink anything prior to the test it was early in the morning and I rushed out the door but having read a few threads on here it seems I should have been better hydrated for it.

Definitely need to get my numbers and will post up

Are you in the US? Don't get me wrong we have PLENTY of issues with healthcare in the US but the only people that ever post these "my doctor won't give me my bloodwork" are people from other countries. Working with several folks in Europe (I'm in med device) they all say the same thing they can't believe we are "allowed" to see all the details (I think they are also surprised we want to).

Anyway...You really need to try to get those numbers otherwise impossible to say anything. My assumption is that the number wasn't too high based on the docs comments, but that's all an assumption on my end. It sounds overall like you have good bloods and are a healthy male, but man it's just impossible to ascertain much from your post.

I’m in Europe. Rang today and can’t get my results without filling in a form to request them and then wait up to 30 days. I asked if the receptionist could give me the numbers but she said she wasn’t medically trained to do so, not medically trained to read some numbers off a screen, seriously? They used to give me my cholesterol numbers over the phone but would not even do that.

ridicolous..
here in germany i just drive by and ask them to print my lab work for me.
No issues at all. If something is off they always tell me to make a doc appointment to talk about xy but i rarely follow since most of the time there are reasons why something is off (e.g. ALT/AST/ creatinine kinase when training, HDL when on orals, RBC/HCT/HB when dehydrated etc.)

That is so backwards. Again, we have plenty of our own issues on this side of the world...but my gosh that is strange. Hopefully you can fill out the forma and get the info.

Knowing our bureaucrats the form is probably 200 pages long and needs filled in in triplicate in yellow ink.

Diet and cardio currently?
Diet mostly clean, basically 2 meals of oats with whey, 4 meals of minced chicken or turkey breast with a carb, changes depending on my mood no standard one.

Cardio, I walk quite a lot, 10k plus steps most days and some HIIT sessions here and there plus about 20 minutes on treadmill after weights 3 or 4 times a week. Could always do a bit more but couldn’t we all.

Firstly, I’d reccomend incorporating more fruits and vegetables as far as diet. I’m also not sure what mostly clean means as you didn’t really clarify.

As for cardio, steps and walking on the treadmill are great but are you actually elevating your heartrate beyond hiit randomly?
