i generally hold the opinion that if you can wear it your whole workout it's an aid (compression shorts, spandex shirt ect...), if you have to take it off (bench shirt, squat suit, wrist wraps, ect...) its a crutch. unless of course you are a powerlifter, then its ok because they actually compete with these things on. i dont think bodybuilders/non strength athletes should use these types of things.
