Phil,
Has anyone used your routine for a raw powerlifting meet? The exercises would have to be executed in a different range of motion than you suggest but the emphasis on progression and compound movements seem to be a perfect match.

Oh of course..........and I am currently training a real up and coming olympic lifter.......he will like to see this ,hahhahahha

I used his training (and diet for the most part) leading up to my first raw meet (natural)... won the unequipped division my first go around. Worked for me. I worked in more rest days leading up to the meet but for the most part sticked to the program he had me on a year ago.

Good job understanding that there has to be some adaption Ty....

Congrats! What were your lifts?

Thanks sagaboy, weighed in at 202lb. Was actually trying to get up to 220 months b4 the show but ended up w/ swine flu 1 week out. Dropped about 12lbs... I will have to look for the exact numbers on the website...i think this is correct tho. I remember exactly my attempts i missed on...
Dead 550-- missed my 600lb attempt, they called me for hitching it up (i blacked out, definately struggled w/ it). Would have been a new PR.
Squat 500-- missed my 550, beat the command.
Bench 345-- red flagged on my 3rd attempt of 375lb for again beating the command but went up smooth.
It was great fun, but was nervous and beat the commands on 3 seperate lifts, went 6 for 9....doing one again in feb. Going for a 1500 total at 198lb. Should be doable if I listen to the judges and go at least 8 for 9 on my lifts. Thats my goal anyway.

On a side note, there was a down syndrome young man who was incredibly strong. He was a big boy, roughly 240ish but lifted in a very slow manner (i'm talking probably a 5 second negative on squats with 550 on his shldrs) and was handling huge poundages, he would have easily won the show if it were not for being flagged on many of his lifts... kid was amazing.
