Pramipexole and insomnia

Been taking 0.25mg pramipexole for 2 weeks now. read a lot about how it can make people tired so I took it right before bed. I normally sleep very well and it takes me no time at all to fall asleep once in bed. For the first two weeks this stuff made it hard for me to fall asleep and then once I did I would wake up constantly. Usually I wake up momentarily while I roll over or whatever but then I am right back to sleep. Once I started taking prami, once I finally did fall asleep when I woke to roll over I would be wide awake and it would again take me forever to fall back asleep. I was tired throughout the day. So today I took my dose at around 5pm and was friggin exhausted and tired and ready for bed by 6pm. Maybe its finally starting to kick in the usual side effects? Has anyone else experienced this?

A lot of people get this side effect. But it should pass in 4-5days. Lower the dose and work up.

Take your dose about 3 hours pre bed.

I would never take prami in the day

It literally gave me random boners like I took a Viagra if I used it during the day.

It only fucked up my sleep for the first few days because it can make your nose stuffy, which is a pain in the ass trying to fall asleep only able to breathe out of your mouth. It would subside for me but if I stopped taking prami for even a few days I would have to go through that BS again to get back on it.

I have been taking it 2-3 hours before bed and now have been on it for over two weeks and I am sleeping great again. Not sure if it is a combo of the two or what but no more restless sleepless nights. And yea this stuff makes me hornier than hell.
