Hi guys, I posted this question in the beginner's forum because I really respect this forum here, and I didn't want to bother anyone with a newb question, but it seems I may have asked a more serious question.
Here is my original thread: http://www.professionalmuscle.com/forums/beginners-forum/64605-testing.html#post854895
I'll paraphrase it here if you don't want to read that thread. On another thread in the sponsors forum, the issue came out about testing the purity of different products. My question is, which test do you regard as an appropriate test for purity?
I have full access to a university lab where I often do independent projects. I can do anything from simple melting point tests to x-ray fluorescence tests. Personally, I prefer atomic spectroscopy when testing for purity, but all methods have validity in different circumstances.
So, if someone was to test a product and wanted to share the results, which testing method would you accept as valid? And how much of the product would you want to test before you felt that the results were correct? Thanks guys!
