ok im not gonna say what do you prefer obviously milk taste better, but even while bulking i will not use it EVER. I am done with mil it tkaes me 3 secodns to down a water shake and much faster to prep... what about you guys, just curoius how it levels out around if most use milk or water of does it depend on the current goals.
 
Depends on diet goals

Milk for gaining. Often use a pre-made drink mixed with a powder during these times.
Water if low-carbing.

I use water too, except for post workout dring which I will have half water half fruit juice.
 
water in my postworkout shake with all the essentials, the rest of the day i try to keep my meals to solid foods but obviously cannot, about 3-4 of my meals a day are protein powder based but besides postworkout none are shakes. its either mixed into oatmeal with cinnnamon or used with lots less water to make a protein pudding
 
Milk is for babys (literally)!

The US is one of the few countries in the world that considers milk as a staple/food group for adults.

I guess you know my answer :)

To save me from HUGE FLAMMING FARTS, I use water. Also, and a 1/2 of fruit is an excellent combo
 
I use crystal light and synthepure, all you taste is the crystal light!;)
 
There is almost no dairy in mylife anymore. So no milk for me. It sucks cause I was a huge milk drinker, but not anymore. Haven't touched any in almost 4-5months.
 
Milk usually (the non-fat, lactose free kind). Not the greatest tasting stuff by itself, but once you mix it with protein powder (I like optimum nutrition chocolate whey), you can't tell it apart from standard 2% milk, IMO. That's what I normally do.

If you're cutting tho, I'd say drop the milk because of carb content and just use water (although I find shakes made with water to often be too thin or chemical tasting if you add more powder to make up for the thin consistency.)

cannot believe u guys dont like milk ! nothing but milk for my shakes :) . babies ? lol doesnt matter , protein powder in water sucks and i dont drink it normally unless its a necessity .
 
i get bloated as hell with milk and let's just say that when i have milk, everyone around me knows it hehe, it's not the greatest smell in the world lol.

but water, man it tastes like dog vomit, maybe i just need another brand of powder tho hehe
