Q for those who have put on 70 to 100 lbs in 5 or so yrs

first off im currently 26 yrs old. have been working out seriously for 4 years. im 5'11'' and 170 lbs. 4 years ago i weighed 145 lbs. i started gear after two years of working out. i started using gear because in two years i put on 5 lbs. i have always had very little body fat ( under 8%). i would post pics but dont wanna incriminate my self in any way. if i knew how to photoshop i would. im trying to learn.

i eventually want to get to 220 lbs. i would definately compete if i could get to 200 or so, but i would have to be much thicker!
i started off taking dbol test and deca. still take those compounds only, but have gone up to 1500 mgs of test ,400 mgs deca per week and 50 mgs dbol per day 4 weeks on 4 weeks off. i blast and cruize with the test but never come off. the rest i come off for two or three months every three months. (ive already had my kids)

i eat anything and everything! lots of meat, fat, protein and more fat. my girlfriend is used to me eating so much, but everyone that i eat with cant believe that im not 500 lbs. i load up on carbs year round and eat every time i get a chance. i cant even get fat!!! ive tried!!!

for the past two years i have worked out with big a's protocol and obviously had good results!

my question is this. for a hard gainer such as me, would it be possible to get to 220 lbs? i think it could happen but how long ? 10 yrs?

those of you that have gained 100 lbs, how did you do it and how long did it take?

please share your stories or advice!
 
should i go more toward a power lifting work out. like: bench , squat, deads. clean and press, pull ups and push ups?
 
When I originally started mate, I was 8st 12lbs.

Weighed in last night at 15st 7lbs.

Im 5ft 8. So was really skinny when I started at age 18. Now just 22, so its taken just over 3.5 years.

There is no short cut, i'm just very committed and eat and eat some more.

Aim for 5k cals a day if you've got a fast metabolism.

I've obviously put some fat on, but that's to be accepted.

Gona take some more pics tomorrow so may put them up.
 
hmm. i feel smarter now. that really good tom! i usually eat about 4000 cals a day....i dont know if i could keep that much more down.

Definately!

All that "isolation," "finishing" type stuff will not put size on yuo. Heavy squats, dealifts, shugs, rack pulls, chins, pressing, dips, etc will make a big difference.

Ask yuorself: Which are the exercises that use the most muscles at once, and the heaviest weight?
For example, that stupid cable crossover that everyone seems to think is so necessary for chest is pretty close to the same mechanics as dips. Which do yuo think yuo can use more weight with?

The exercises yes definitely. Skip the one-three rep max though.

I completely agree with this. But i have lately incorporated into my workout the FST-7 by Hany Rambod. Which is basically, after you finish with the muscle do 7 sets 12 reps each with a weight that you reach failure at around 15-17. These sets are done with 30 second rest in between. Hany argues that this will pump blood into the muscle and stretch the fascia. The pump is unbearable but it really has worked to make the muscle bellies look more full. Everyone has their own views on training and one has to find whats right, but compounds with heavy weight is generally best for growth and (for me) the incorporation of FST-7 at end puts the icing on the cake.
 
Hire Phil Hernon. He WILL get you to grow and he's cheaper than gear. ive made the best gains of my life and im not stuffing myself to the gills every day, im actually hungry more! its a fantastic program that cuts out all the bulshit and only leaves you with what works. pm me for his contact info or pm him on here.
 
I'm 5'11, 186lbs and I'm 18. Also at about 8% bf. I've put on the most weight taking almost ALL isolation exercises out and just heavy ass weight to a true failure. and I'm all natty.

and not being a smart ass man, but I definitely think you should get your workout and diet in check and lay off the gear. You can get WAY bigger than 170 lbs without gear at 5'11. I think you got frustrated and jumped the gun because you only put 5lbs on in 2 years.

I put on about 50 fast and maintained my leaness then the last 20 was really hard. Had to focus on diet more but the first 50 was real easy for me. I had a fast metabolism so I ate whatever whenever. The aid in AAS really helped me put on weight with my fast metabolism. Now my diet really plays a big role in size and leaness. The fundamentals like bench, squat and pressing really put size on me. For leaning I stick to machines works better for ME.
 
A great routine to check out is westside for skinny bastards...its great to build the base thickenss and strength to build upon.

well big a's protocol i would say is definately in check.i did put on almost thirty lbs in two years! i exceeded his diet though. and as for the gear, i worked up to that i didnt start off at those doses. i have also never had any sides. my gonads are the same or even bigger maybe since i started using.

anyways, im gonna try the core strength training and ill be talkin to big HERNON real soon. thanks for your replys

Are you lifting heavy weights and pushing your body to its limit? If you were giving it everything you've got in the gym then with all equations mentioned in place you should be at least 200lbs by now.
Too much reliance on gear IMO, save some of your money and invest in one of the trainers on here, MainEvent, Shelby, Hutch, Phil are all outstanding guys and they can put this better to you than I can.

There is no way your eating enough food bro. WAy too many times I see men who are below 10%, who cant gain, because they are afraid of putting on some fat. If you want to be 200 at 8% you need to get to 220 at 12% first. Dont fear the fat, you can rip it off after.

ill check into that. i would love to get some fat on me! im wondering if my nervous system maybe playing some kinda role. im naturally pretty high strung....im gonna get with phil this weekend and see what he says.

ill keep the progress posted in this thread. not cuz im special but because if i can get to 220, it would be a miracle! if in 2 years i would be thrilled!
 
Lets think logically about this, Do you think bodybuilders use pushdowns, concentration curls etc for growth? No haha, they use heavy deadlifts, military press, Bench, Pull ups, Barbell Rows, Squats etc. the second i realized this and started training with these exercises i exploded i was at 170lbs last year in august im currently 235 at 6`2.

Big Weights build Big Muscles.

i used to be 6ft 140 super lean at 19 started working out now i am 26 i have gotten up too 265 8% i was a hard gainer cause my metabolism was so dam fast. i ate so damm much i made myself get big my body wont put on fat you are prob the same way so if you aint gettin big enough your not eating enough and if you cant eat more well i dont know what to tell you looks like you better get comfy at that weight bud. i eat close to 8000 cal not including cheat meals which i have one a day. also i agree keep to compound movements in your workouts
