rest time on cycle

just a question ,i was wondering how much rest is needed while on gear? i split train 5 days a week with about 2 hrs of cardio for now spread out through the week.i'm 39 .and taking 300mg of primo and 400mg of deca a week but starting to feel sluggish .strength is great,but my endurance is low.i used to be able to train more and still feel energized on gear but the last few days ive been draggen my ass .any suggestions ???
 
I try and get 7 to 8 hours every night - on or off gear. If I get less than 7, I try and take naps during the day. I take a van pool to work and can easily sleep one hour total (between both directions).
 
I would say look at your diet if you are feeling sluggish...as far as sleep...minimum 8 hours...and a nap if you can.

Try doubling your intake of food....CLEAN FOODS...I have noticed that helps me...I can tell when I am not eating good...I get the sluggish feeling and motivation goes right down the shitter.
 
I am a firm advocate of including test base in all my cycles, mass or cutting. Deca kind of drains me as well. You might want to think about adding a test even if its only 200- 300mg a week. Your training doesnt seem to be to much, but if you have a day job like me Mon-Fri I can understand why you might feel fatigued at times. You also might want to consider cutting back for maybe a week. Next week perhaps just do 2 days of weight training, upper body one day lower body the next. Maybe one day of cardio if any at all. It might be that your motivation levels are just down. Take a break and have your mind set where it needs to be for the following week.

thanks for the reply's i'll take all that s suggested into careful consideration.the trainning s good 2 on 1 off schedule ,and the food is spotless (very clean).could be just lack off sleep i get maybe 5hrs a night.As i start work at 7 and live 40 mins away.that makes for an early morning.and i can't fall asleep early.as i'm a real night owl.i think alot of us end up going to bed when were not tired ,and waking up when we are.
 
I would say you're feeling sluggish because you have no testosterone.

more sleep man, 5 hours is not enough! you gotta rip,rest,grow. then repeat the process over. and if you are taking any test, you might ought to think aobut it, deca makes me tired as hell, so tired that i wont take it. test seems to make me sleep good and keep my energy levels going (as well as sex levels!) so might want to think about 300mg or so a week. would bring on more gains too!
 
cycles should be based on TEST...then add in the deca or tren...but TEST should be the foundation.
 
Add more complex carbs????
 
Sleep is very important.. take mid-day naps if you can. I have to agree with the others too.. you should really have some test in that cycle. Next time bro..
