You need to get your LDL down. Also your Trigs should never be more than double your HDL.

Were you fasted? 107 is a bit high on the glucose.

I may have got up and ate at night. I took kratom before going in . Also got up two hours earlier than waking time for this appointment

Glucose has been higher, about 100-105 since started GH about a year ago. Take 1 IU per day . Take novolin r pre workout a few days a week then control it. Take alpha lipoic acid as well to lower it. Have has labs done before ala with a 35 grams protein 20 gram carbs and 15 GS fat first meal, and ala lowered it to 70 with the meal

Yes ldl down for sure, highest time its ever been. I do compete , and this year stayed on 500 mgs a few months longer than I ever have. This lab work was done after eight weeks on trt 70-120 mgs.

Any tips for lowering ldl?

After hdl being 23-30 since 2017, niacin in the form of nicotinic acid is what raised it. Ive done cardio everyday for years and maybe raises hdl five points

What was your estradiol at? It's hard to have a decent HDL if you estrogen is smashed.

I've posted the below in a few other threads and it's what has worked for me at keeping LDL minimal w/o a statin or Ezetimibe while on anything over TRT. Vascepa is good as well. Unfortunately my Dr. won't script me any because mine numbers are good.

Krill Oil: 6 grams a day (2g 3x/day with meals)
Citrus Bergmont: 1000mg AM fasted
Jarrow Red Yeast Rice Extract 1 600mg cap, 2x a day (with meals)
Pantethine: 450mg (2x a day with meals)
Beta Sisterol: 2 grams (1 gram 2x a day with meals)
NOW Policosanol 1cap 2x a day (with meals)
Cardarine 20mg/day

Didn't get it this time. Even with my routine testosterone to get script test, endo won't do free , or estrogen. Had to get a sensitive estrogen test lc ms Ms if I remember right bc regular read way too high, it's been five years ago since then , and that doctor passed away

Estrogen more than likely is good I use raloxifene 30 mgs, maybe twice a week, esp if I go to 20-25 mgs a day which I do somedays

I have been using 12.5 mgs ephedrine everyday, 150 mgs caffeine and 3 mgs alpha yohimbine everyday for past two months as i added in cardio every morning. Two days ago I dropped ephedrine and yohimbine , kept caffeine in , and still doing some cardio every morning

Supplements I've been taking past two months

Nac 1200 mgs a day
Multi
Vit d
Acidophilus
L theanine a couple maybe few times a week
Got tudca a month ago and taking it some days not much though

Intra workout 5 -6 days
L carnitine
Glyercol mono
Citrulline malate
Beta alanine
Creatine
Eaas
Karbolyn

Anyways it is what it is. Curious what my next labs will be like

You are pre-diabetic with blood glucose of 107 fasted. GH is not the reason either. With BG and LDL that high, you are a carb-a-vore with zero vegetables. Liver enzymes are not that high from kratom the day before either. Maybe from chronic use, but the liver numbers are real bad too. I don`t care what supplements you help to offset those numbers, it aint doing jack, only the right food will.

With 2.5iu of Gh my fasted BG is still under 80

I agree that a glucose of 107 is not from 1iu of gh daily. I would work on my diet to lower that number.

I get up and ate during sleep so many times bg is three- four hours. This particular day got up two hours than usually do for Dr appointment. Big has been a bit high even before started GH, 90-100 in mornings. Guess I'll buy those sticky things and prick finger. No don't use kratom much, once, twice a week usually less.

This is highest ldl has ever been which makes no sense as I've been on trt eight weeks. Makes think kratom did a false positive. Ten months ago was 155 , only thing I've changed since then is added slin 5-10 ius , 4-5 days a week and GH 1 IU, last contest back in June got up to 3 ius for two months

Since I've been doing cardio past two months I have lost a few lbs while enjoying some foods certain days and some days diet has been on point. Carbs 300 daily

Time to watch diet closer. The next before the test had a Chinese buffet which is rare

*the night before the test. Also that night trained lower body , esp calves and glutes hard but still quads n hams

Hormones
Test e from 2017-2019, still good I would guess
Dhea 25 mgs
Pregnolone transdermal small amount on testes

I would check BG when you are waking in middle of the night to go eat. Are you just hungry or is blood sugar crashing?

The NAC/ALA/TUDCA should of had your liver enzymes in better range imo....but they can rise and fluctuate from heavy training and other things. Since you trained the night prior, maybe that had an effect on the labs that next morning.

Your LDL is of most concern imo. Have you ever tried Citrus Bergamot? If not maybe try adding that in along with 1.8-3 grams of EPA/DHA per day from a good fish oil source....along with continued cardio.

All this talk about blood glucose from a single pull is not necessary, only average glucose really matters, get A1C and go from there. It's not even worth thinking about it until after you get that result.

ALT is slightly concerning, ALT is more of a specific marker of liver damage than AST (ALT is also less raised from exercise than AST, so high ALT without high AST means the ALT is coming from liver damage). I would figure out what is causing that and lower it. This probably isn't a big deal, 2x the normal range isn't that high.

Total cholesterol isn't that bad, 200 is probably ideal. The amount of cholesterol being carried around by LDL is probably worth lowering if possible. I'd get a calcium CT scan to try and determine how concerned with that LDL you should be.

BUN could be lower, I think 20ish or less is ideal, 25 is probably fine, 30 is pretty high. Dehydration or burning too much protein as fuel is usually the cause.

Hungry . Last couple nights kept sleeping despite being hungry and hunger went away

Thank you for 👉 ng out I was taking in too many carbs. I know carbs and cholesterol levels correlates.

I'm thinking the same. Something I learned from a doctor I had that passed was that don't jump the gun, if the test continues to test out time and time again then keep searching for answers and or take aggressive action

No citrus. I take in a ton of high quality fish oil.

This is the highest total and ldl has ever been. Eleven months ago total was 195 and ldl 155 which still isn't good. Taking in less carbs already

Hormonally pre competition and after competition I ran 500-750 mgs and down too 200 mgs some weeks for half a year, which was the longest I've ever ran that high of a dose so maybe that's it. Been on 70- 150 mgs ten weeks now

Yes I forgot a few years ago my bun was high, I did research and found you MUST be hydrated or it'll read high. I tested back in one month and drank three liters and it was in perfect range.

I drank maybe one liter before this test.

In my experience, hydration level doesn't really have much effect on BUN unless you are very dehydrated, if you are even moderately hydrated you will get an accurate number.

I generally taper down water by end of day, then don't drink for eight hours. On my labs years ago, it seemed to matter, as I didn't drink much bun tested a bit out of range then one month later, drank 3 liters upon awake ng, right before test and it tested in range

A few labs ago I drank like a gallon before, was too much, and it effected something else, I forget what offhand

Last labs ,ten months prior, bun was 25

Definitely keeping an eye on all of this.

Thank you everyone .
