it should be, as long as the stopper doesn't have a huge hole in it from a large gauge needle. For instance, if you had stuck it a year ago with a 18 gauge needle. I'm sure you probably used a 23 gauge or similar. The stopper should still be air tight with just 1 little hole.it should be sterile if you used proper technique when you punctured the stopper.

One thing you can do is turn the vial upside down. Look for bubbles coming up through the oil solution. If you see bubbles then that means that the stopper is not air tight. In that case I would toss it.

Oil or water based? Water based is always iffy.

you could buy a new one for around $3-$5 versus a potential visit to medexpress or the ER for the removal of an abscess or infection for around $300-$500. life is full of options.

lol. I think he meant can he use the gear in the vial after a year not just re use an old glass vial. So the cost would be more like $40-50 instead of $4-5. I agree though still that it probably isn’t worth the risk unless you are desperate.

You're probably fine but consider filtering it if worried.

Just to be safe try only small volume i.e. 1/10 cc and give it a few days before stepping up dose.
